About Sam Hankey

Sam is a certified Veterinary Nurse with over 5 years experience in alternative veterinary medicine. She is a certified Small Animal Massage Practitioner and Reiki Master. She is also trained in acupressure, Tui Na and cranial sacral work for animals.

Sam studied at the Mount Ida College Veterinary Technician Program where she received her Bachelors of Science and shortly after passed her boards exam to become a Certified Veterinary Nurse.

While in school Sam also trained to become a Reiki master to have both an education in veterinary sciences and the metaphysical. She believes it is important to have both educational backgrounds and when combined great things can be achieved for our beloved animals and our own well beings. She believes everyone and everything is made up of energy and Reiki gives us the ability to harness that healing energy and give it to a recipient for their highest good and release what no longer serves us.
