The sessions began when Lola was undergoing chemotherapy but have become a regular part of her care plan with a focus that shifts as needed for chronic health conditions including asthma, IBD and related GI issues, and arthritis – as well as illness and injury.

Having an effective, non-invasive and non-chemical option for healing has been both welcome and instrumental. In addition to being skilled with energy work, Sam’s medical experience helps to inform her process – as does her gift of animal communication. Giving Lola a voice in her care is important to me. Knowing how she is feeling, where she has discomfort, and when to leave things alone has helped to inform both her Western and non-Western medical treatments.

Sam and Lola’s relationship has grown and strengthened over time because Sam is always kind and respectful and has earned Lola’s trust. Sam identifies where energy needs a boost, moving or clearing, but she remains responsive to Lola’s feedback – adjusting throughout the session. What makes all of this even more amazing is that almost all of our appointments are virtual (by phone). Lola is able to get the support she needs within the comfort of her own home. It's nice to have in-person appointments periodically though so Lola can get a massage!

This is all about giving Lola the best quality of life possible and our sessions with Sam have been such a positive experience. The information and interactions have enriched our own relationship by deepening our understanding of each other, sharing the process, and learning to communicate more openly and directly.
